One of my most satisfying pieces of work completed during college was an interview with Supermodel and ‘Special K’ girl, Lisa Snowdon. With extensive media exposure, including being on the cover of FHM magazine, I faced myself with the challenge of producing an interview in connection with the recording of her debut album.  The task I had set myself was for a 5 minute entertainment feature for broadcast during a magazine program. I was to undertake all roles of production where possible.

After many phone calls and dead ends I finally managed to speak to Lisa's manager, who eventually agreed to an interview with her during the recording of her new album.  The interview was very successful, Lisa spoke to us for a lot longer than out allotted time, and we obtained some great material. 

Following the successful shoot, I reviewed all the footage, made a rough script, obtained additional source material, edited and completed the 5 minute feature.  Taking a fairly modern style, with music from the first album, and edits of Lisa’s television adverts, I was delighted with the final product. Not only did I receive a distinction grade from the piece, but it was shown as part of the NASTA (University Television Network) programming throughout the following year.
